Buy now for $135 U.S - that's not a bad deal for 6 fish you rarely see, I'd have a go.
I wonder if they are just colour morph or a species fish?
cheers J

From what I have gathered, the green ancistrus (also called green dragon ancistrus, forest green, neon green etc) is just another color morph of the common aquarium strain BN. I'm not sure how they got the color either, but if you do get something unusual in a batch of fry with careful breeding you can usually "fix" the trait if you care to do so.
I suspect the very green color in the photo is due to lighting conditions. I haven't seen one in the flesh, but those that have usually describe them as more of a mustard green or dull greenish yellow and not terribly spectacular.
I like them well enough that I would probably pick them up if I found some reasonably priced (meaning about the same as any other fancy BN) While they may not be all that t stunning yet, with selective breeding for color I think they do have potential.

when it comes to green plecos id rather go for the L200. but this bns color could probably have some potential if bred under the right conditions
