Had my first run in with the dreaded bloat this morning. Lost six babies... Not cool. We had fish for dinner last night so I shaved some scraps into their tank and this morning -- paid for it. Cleaned the tank, put a dozen cooked peas in there and so far so good. Lesson learnt the hard way.

I would not feed any kind of protein to fry at all if i was you.Stick to algae and veg matter. Also only feed it to adults once in a while.I hope the rest will be o.k,good luck.

Sad Shame you had to learn the hard way but at least they got the peas ASAP, hope you do not lose any of the others.

Seven all up yesterday, but that's out of around 40 in the tank and the rest seem ok and are eating the peas, so fingers crossed. Lost none last night, so hopefully that's the extent of it. No more meat for the fry from now on!

Sorry to hear mate. Hopefully as you got the peas into them soon enough the rest will be ok.
