Jim...

sure if these aren't the same as mine I have one in my tank that is more like it...

mine were bought as Ancistrus TeminckII,
though I have 5 varieties of Ancistrus in the same tank so I could be confused right now...lol

might get more help from Doug or Moo, though Deano is good with Ancistrus too...

add me if you like and will ask my contacts up here...

I thought that it may be this one HERE as it's found in Columbia amongst other places.

The image at bottom right bears similaritys to the second image in my original post. There again my eyes are not what they used to be

The fish in the pictures I've posted are only 3-4cms so they could develop different colouration and patterning to what they are know.

I have a few of these. They were sold to me as Ancistrus sp Cucuta although I'm not sure how accurate that is. They also put the number L149 on them. They come from the Columbia/Venezuela region.

I've talked with thatfishplace before and the majority of their pleco stock is bred vs. imported so I haven't purchased anything from them. That's not really a bad thing but as a breeder I like to sell F1 fish whenever possible.

I don't think that their source info is correct on that link though.
