| tell him to do the rght thing and go put them in the don or a big pond someware their not going to fair too well in a fish tank. frogs highbanate through winter and to be honest i just cannot see anyone on hear wanting to put frogs in their tanks. those frogs will be leaving his pond soon and they will be back next year if he doesnt remove them first his pond is now a breeding ground.

| unfortunatly, deano is right. Once they have started to breed at a location they tend to come back to it unless they are removed to a far away location. so he may be albe to offload the young this year but he will have the same issue next year. personally, i would rather have the frogs than they Koi though. but thats just me. Over here our local frogs are struggling so i would love to help them out and get afew going in a pond but alas i rent | |

| just be careful not to transport them too far. Frogs are very senstitive creatures and having seen the effects of some ill-concieved relocation efforts leading to massive population losses. just thought of another way. If he wants the frogs gone then i would suggest putting a cage around it or something exculding the frogs from it. that way they will head off on the own, knowing that the site is no longer usable. he can keep the koi, the frongs will disperse naturally, preserving the natural order of things and everyone sleeps well | |
