PostSubject: male fanning?   Tue Feb 10, 2009 1:12 am

ok this is all new to me but i think my pair have done the deed. or have they ???. I see today the male will not leave the cave alone he faces into the cave wiggling in figure 8 movements with his finn's.

fore some un- known reason i thought he would be faceing out of the cave fanning clean water in.

If they have spawned it could be their first time . the guy i had them off never botherd trying to breed this pair from his display tank.

i can not take photos due to very high tannings in the tank ( Oak Cave )

whats peoples views on this ?

thanks Rob.

sounds very promising,
like john said he will be facing inwards gaurding the eggs and constantly fanning,
and you will soon no if he is gaurding eggs, if the female trys to enter the cave he will go mad with his tail at first hitting her out of the way,
