| I couldn't find a topic regarding airstones or diffusers. I must admit I normally buy the cheapest ones i can find only because when i try to clean them they seem to break easily or get algae build up and need to be replaced.
I have seen bubble walls, disc diffusers, wooden blocks etc but never really considered anything else.
I'd be interested to hear any thoughts.

| I use the normal every day types, they don't have a long life span tho, Maybe a year.. I have used the hard longer wall ones, the long flexible ones, the two have a reasonably good lifespan. lasting me a few year in constant operation.. The wooden ones are intriguing me now tho..they can be used as a Co2 diffuser also apparently..
I now run my sponge filters in the tanks, and don't bother with air stones anymore...oops I'm lying, I do have a normal air stone in my big tank 320L. as it doesn't have a sponge filter it runs two canisters...
