Looks like what we call a peppermint bristlenose. Different species to the starlights as the starlights keep their white tips on the dorsal and tail fins where as the peppermint looses them and it looks like this fells is loosing his.

this is the L181,L071, L249. and yeh doug is right they do loose there white same and your's is fading, but ive also seen L183 with hardly any white seam on it.....
nice confusing one for....lol...but if they were sold to you as L181's i would stick with that....only time will tell when he / she gets fully mature ...
