Cant believe it... More eggs!

My bns have just laid more eggs! An even bigger cluster...
Isnt that a bit unusual after only 21 days???

I find this quite common, in fact my Bristlenose always seem to have the first batch and then the secnd usually comes along about 14-20 days later
all the time, usually the first batch is a small one and the second batch of eggs is often in the 60 - 70's.

Raise your glasses and hands.....

Mark it on the calendar and see how often it happens

I agree. It seems once they start they don't stop. I have just sold my first lot of babies and I counted them out as I sold them. There were 94! I've had them in a 2' tank since they hatched in October and they were about 1.5 " when I sold them. I couldn't keep up with filtering and water changes any more so was glad they have gone but I accidentally left two in the tank.

Well my new babies are just starting to come out of the cave!
Have seen 2 having a bit of a nosey around! Amazing to see them next to the ones that hatched xmas day. Such a difference in size!!!

I try to give them everything they could want/need!
If this is going to be the trend though (every 21 days) I am soon going to run out of space

most of us run outof space, I had one tank then two, then three...lol....

then 6 tanks.... now backdown to three tanks but on sunday I should be getting another 3ft and 4ft for growing the fish out...lol

good luck you have found your new habit and fix... more tanks on the way lol...

ahhh, but you see, there is the trick..get more tanks, have more fry, sell more fry, pay for the power bill and buy the missus something shiny to keep her happy about the fishtanks.
