PostSubject: chinese algae eater and L catfish and bristlenose mixing...   chinese alge eater EmptyTue Jan 18, 2011 4:07 am

had mine two years and I find as ong as you dont under feed the fish then it is alright.

it does chase occasionally but it as never bitten any of my other Bristlenose as yet, though who is to say you do not get a rogue one now and again like any other fish.

I would say keep a eye on it and any signs of it nipping then take back, only time I see it chase is when you feed as it appears defesive and territorial when fed,
but my peppermint bristlenose are way worse than my chinese algae eater.

good luck whatever you decide...
