Hi Guys

I hope this question is in the right section.

Can you home the L183 starlight with the common BN?

As a relative newbie I wouldn't have thought anything of it but came across some comment on the internet that the L183 are really agressive and can kill over variety of BN's. Is there any truth in this?

Anyone any experience of keeping L183 with other common BN an/or indeed any other plecos?

Thanks guys

I've got two which look like they are both males and they are delightful. Always busy around everywhere a bit like the corys do. I'll be looking for a girlie or two now.

Well, I put a different vegetable in every day like spinach, cucumber, beans, courgette etc. Three different types of sinking wafers in a sort of daily rotation and Tetra flake for the other fish which the BNs could eat from the bottom. I have never seen the starlight eating the wafers or the veg but nearly always they are grubbing around in the gravel or on the wood.
