We had fresh pineapple yesterday and I dropped a piece of the core into one of my tanks. The Bristlenose like it and keep returning for more and more

its sweet, bristlenose do seem to have a sweet tooth. I drop in my watermellon rinds and they go NUTS!!

I 'd be worried about the amount of acids in pineapple Shocked ,
but hey if your fish aren't sick and keep eating at it - maybe it's not to bad?
let us know if keep feeding it to your fish.

It wasn't the soft part- the ring- it was the centre- the fibrous part. They chewed it a good bit but I've taken it out now.

I'd still think there would be a % of acid in the core - still like I said keep us informed ,
it might be good thing.
