PostSubject: fish compatible to a pleco aquarium....   Fri Feb 04, 2011 10:30 pm

danio's are nice fish to make a change, also guppies in the tank can help the pleco's to breed at a later date.

some may say it may not but always seems to spur my pleco's along....

also platie's are good.... and what about sword tails tooooo...

all the best

Lj

LJ's right, there is a theory that hormones given off by livebeareres during mating can trigger Bn's to spawn.

I must say that when I had Endlers in with my trio I never had to trigger a spawn but after I removed them I did.

Well you know Guppies If you started with a couple of trios you'll have a tank full in no time. Very Happy

As far as I know this is only a theory but there are breeders who swear by it.
