my riend was sold this fish as baryancistrus S.p. who has now given the fish to me. i dont know alot about catfish but i believe that it is a male if someone could help me identify this fish it would be much aprecieated as i would like to find a couple of females for him and posibly breed them

He is definately male and VERY beautiful!
As to what exact type he is I will leave that to the experts on here!!

some books would say a white spotted bristlenose....
"Catfish and back to nature"

others would say a variety of peppermint...

and by the way definitely male Smile
