OK guys, I am nearing the end of the edits for the 3rd edition.

I am wondering if there is anything that you would like me to add into the book then now is your chance to tell me.

So...what would you like to know about our beloved bristlenose?

How about a genetics section, what we know or suspect to date. I know the scientist in you is going to recoil about printing anything that isn't yet proven, but I look at it a bit like the L number system, that's not 100% either, but we use it for lack of something better. A good educated guess is better for the time being than nothing. Also, if the theory doesn't match what people are getting in their tanks, I'm sure it will be the fastest way to find out; human nature being what it is, you'll hear about it. There is interest in this subject as you have just found it necessary to put a sticky up on the subject. You could also note that just because species (3) and species (4) etc are used for various morphs of common BN does NOT mean that they are really different species. Personally I think the use of those terms is a major reason a lot of people think that crossing the different morphs of common BN will give you hybrids.

cheers for the input guys.

Amber - you know me well, as I have been discussing a genetic section and have been shying away from the idea for the exact reason you mentioned, I dont like to publish conjecture. But I have included a section about crosses. I have kept it very VERY basic and loose but it is a rough guide as to what to expect.

Peppermint23 - you are right, the breeding section didn't get much of a boost from V1 to V2. It has recieved several new sections this time though. One of which is aimed at breeders of other species of bristlenose which looks at some more breeding triggers.

Anyone else have something they would like in there?

no one else wants to know more about these amazing animals? or is my book just that good already? well, i know its not, so what do you want to know, what do you want me to expand on.

Is it too basically written, or is it too scientific and full of big scary words that only scientists want or need to understand?
