PostSubject: L156 Network ancistrus   Mon Mar 07, 2011 4:06 pm

I found a tank with this label in my LFS today. I can't find anything like it from Google or any pictures.
The fish were a sort of mid brown (clay colour). All over they have fine black lines all squigly and joined up as in a piece of network. There were about 6, males and females.
I really liked them but thought I'd find out about them before buying as I've never seen them before.
Is anyone able to put a name to them please?

Does this look like it? (bear in mind they may be slightly different colours)

Actually it was quite like the paler one in RH picture but more clay coloured. The black markings were very well defined like you could draw on with a pen.
Yes it could be that. I'll look into it further. The ones I saw were better marked then the picture.
Thank you. cheers

Yes, Right hand.

I've got so many babies which escaped into my main tank I'm wondering if I dare add any more adults.

Do you like the L156?

Ah ha thanks Jim and LJ. I'll probably do my usual thing and dither around until they're gone. I would like them but am worried about overstocking.
