Here are some pics of my reds. Compare the colour with the albino. The albino pair have just bred and you can just see dad in his cave in the first picture and the babies started emerging today Very Happy

Great pictures June

Those Reds seem to be coming along well, is that one of your little starlights in pic 4 also..??

You might need to have the reds in a seperate tan for them to spawn, other wise you may find your dominant male albino taking all the glory..!!!

cheers

Jon

Thanks for the nice comments. Very Happy

Jon, since you had the other male one of the albino males put on a growth spurt and is now I suppose the dominant one. I would love another tank but where to put it? Maybe I'll have to give this one away too. Yes that's one of the starlights. I've no idea what sex they are as they only have short bristles round the top lip. The brown girl eating the bean in pic 2 is one of the ones I didn't catch from the spawn you took.

Note for Doug:
Two common browns bred - all brown babies with just one albino
Albino female bred with brown male - approx half and half albino/brown babies, perhaps slightly more browns
Two albinos bred - all albino babies.

Is that what you would expect?
