All i have as tank mates to a lone lf alb is a few pristellas,

The brisltely spends more and more time hiding,

Initially it would cruise around on the glass and everywhere, now I never see it

I think the pristellas are pecking at the flowing fins, I plan on removing them.

Would this be a fair assumption

Are you seeing any actual fin damage kolokotron?
Or has your albino just taken to hiding?

Fairly confident theres some damage,

Just wondering how many tetras do you have in the tank with the albino?

Is it possible that adding a few more tetras will diffuse the aggression?
From what I understand tetras are happiest in schools of 5+, perhaps rather than getting rid of them adding a few more might diffuse the fin nipping behaviour? Some one else may have more experience with pristella tetras cause I have had them and never seen fin nipping, which is not to say they are not capable of it.

I initially had an large school of them and a larger school of neons in a community tank setup.
The angels I had at the time as small as they where eventually made short work of most of them.

When I went shopping around for some bristlenose for the community tank and spotted the albino lf, quickly decided I want to breed these stunners.

Got rid of all my community fish except the 3 remaining pristellas and an enormous brood of mystery snails.

The pristellas have now been removed. Laughing

Set up now consists of 1 x 400lt 5 ft tank
w/ a few hundred ( approx ) mystery snails and 1 male lf alb bristlnose.
I have 4 at about 4/5cm coming in the next week or so,
So if anyone in adelaide has a lf alb female for him I am interested ( hope that requests not outta line Mr Mods ) Embarassed
