I've been trying to breed Bristlenoses for ages and have been tweaking the tank which has I male and three females. It has plenty of wood, lots of caves, lots of plants. I did plenty of water changes, tweaked the temperature all the triggering mechanisms mentioned on the board- nothing seemed to work and finally I gave up and thought well if it happens- it happens.

Well it finally happened. I've been busy the past week or so and haven't paid much attention to the tank apart from popping in some food. I rarely see the Bristlenose anyway. My daughter spotted one BN fry today and then we started seeing them all over the tank. The most we've seen at the same time is 14. they are approx half an inch long so I guess they been in the tank a while.

Congrats mate. Bn can be like that. Won't breed while you try trigger them, then when you give up they do breed
