here is a pic of a 24 hour hatched baby they are all out and free swimming my new 2nd batch 2nd_ba10

but some bad news the male kicked about 20 eggs that did not hatch it looks like they was not fertilised properly javascript:emoticonp('rest in peace')

i have recently had to sell my 1st batch to my lfs as they started to get in the males way of fanning the newly hatched clutch of eggs and i got a albino female with the money and she has tryied to take dominance of the community tank i was wondering when my main female is ready to spawn will it trigger the albino to spawn

As above mate, Suspect I thought they only came out as free swimmers once they had got rid of their egg sacks scratch

It really depends on the cave, if there is more than one exit for the fry or the opening is quite large then it makes it harder for the male to keep them all in. The other possible cause ie that this male is still a novice to breeeding and seeing he also kicked some eggs then something may have disturbed him.

just the normal really but the cave is the mystery machine turned on its side i have tryied to get the male to go to a different cave before this spawn and he wont leave it so i thought it would be best to leave it and when my brown female bn is ready to spawn will it trigger my female albino to spawn as well
