Hi I realize that you can feed BN bloodworms to condition them for breeding. I no some fish can eat GW or CW. My question is can BN eat them. If so does anyone have a worm farm at home to breed your own worms. That way you throw your scraps into to worm farm fatten them up and feed them to your fish.

I never feed my Bn anything but veg and veg based products. They breed regularly every 3 1/2 weeks.

Totally agree with Jeff on this one.

I also only feed veggie based foods to my BN's. It's my understanding that they do not need protein in the form of meat and that it is not good for them and can actually cause health and digestive issues.

Not sure why you feel you would need worms to condition BN's to breed. Seems the only special thing you need to do to condition them is just take good care of them. That seems to do the trick. Like most I just bought them for algae control. The breeding just happens. Now I'm hooked on them.
