Hi all
Well this is new for me -I've never had clear slime before. I figure its probably bacterial. Is it caused by all the fresh food I'm feeding my 4 little fast-growing BNs? They're only in a little tank at the mo, its one of my hospital tanks - about 25-30 litres. My 300 litre has never had this - maybe because of the much larger water volume.
I'm doing 50% water changes every 3 days at the moment because the little s*ds make so much mess! There is just poo everywhere lol
Thanks in advance

High Cherrypie, hows the slime problem going - I can't offer any advice
on this issue (never had it happen to me "yet"). When you say fresh food
are you referring to fresh veg? I know that to much protein such as blood worm
and brine shrimp can cause a foam to develope on the surface of the water but this usually doesn't have a slimey feel to it . Hope you get it sorted.
Oh but doing the water changes that you are it should hopefully sort
itself out.
cheers J

Thats what I thought but I'm changing any fresh veggies daily before they turn to mush.

On with the water changes and I'll keep searching for a bigger tank that'll be easier to keep "clean"

Cheers guys
