| Hi guys, was wondering which types of BN has a higher egg count, higher breeding frequency and does not grow to a huge size? L144 would be one, Ancistrus Cirrhosus would be another, are there any other contenders? Thanks guys. | |

| A mature common pair would give the highest count imo, but don't have experience with other varieties. Please introduce yourself in the new members section | |

| yeah, A. Cirrhosus (the common bristlenose) is your best bet. highest egg count and easiest to breed.
if you are lloking for something a little different then there are different morphs to look at which are all fairly easy to breed. check out my book for a break down of the common bristlenose types and their breeding requirements.

| The only other bn I can think of that's relatively easy to breed is the peppermint bn we have in aus. Now they don't really have a number as it is believed to be a mix of a couple different L#s. So maybe try one of these L181/L182/L183 and see how you go. | |

| Hi thanks very much for the replies guys, appreciate it. Agreed it depends very much on other factors as well, not just the type of BN. How about the L059? It should breed similarly like the L181/L182/L183s too? Thanks. | |
