| My BN layed eggs and have at least on free swimmer. I have the BN in a 80 gallon community tank with 2 upsidedown catfish. Do I need to move the catfish to save the fry? | |

| they will try. upside down catfish are not the best hunters but like most larger catfish they will leap at the oppertunity to snack on some extra protein. | |

| Synos and BN fry are not the most ideal mates. Synos could easily take BN fry for grindal worm. At least mine did. Found a new home for them shortly after the incident. | |

| Mollys have been known to show an interest in BN fry, as in this topic HERE, it's just something to be wary of. | |

| The large mollies will definately have a go, as will the Yoyo's too if they get a chance. Basically any fish that can get one of the fry in its mouth should be considered to be a threat. If you can't/don't want to move possible threats then the best way that I have found to help them survive is to ensure that you tank is well planted and has plenty of bog wood to give them loads of hiding places. At the end of the day its how they would survive in the wild. Jon | |

| Thanks everyone for the great advice. I have decided that all my fish but the parents are killers. So I put up a screen that has the parents on one side and the rest of the community on the other. | |
