i was cleaning out my tank and found my long fin pleco inside the bog wood in my tank.... figured he would be fine. he can get out.

i looked again just now... had to drill into the wood and break it apart. he is still alive but i dont think he will make it. his long tail fin is gone... not sure why.... he is moving around the tank right now... kinda...... i feel so bad for him.

I also had some "wood issues"
I temporarily moved a bunch of young ones to a smaller tank and noticed 4 were a were a bit bloodied about the head
Had a piece of Mopani wood lying face down and apparently they were all cramming against each other for a prime spot in the darkness. I did notice an area on the wood that was a bit rough. I added some Melafix to the tank and put the piece of wood upright. Everyone seems to fine and almost healed.

Sorry to hear about your longfin. Hope he recovers

Bad news about your L/F, as Aleishoo has said Melafix is a great med and can be used in conjunction with Pimafix.
