I have a decent size chunk of driftwood I found when I had my monitor. is there some way to clean it so I can use it in my pleco tanks?

I use to take mine to the car wash and use the high pressur hose on it but now i bought one to use at home . if you use the high pressure hose then you don`t have to scrub it.
