Hi all, finally signed up with you lot after lurking a few times.

Been keeping fish ranging from Tropical to Marine/Corals for the last 20 years and have found a fish that intrigues me enough to breed them, the Bristlenose Very Happy

I have a Juwel Trigon 350 that will be the grow out tank and I'm setting up a 2tier 2ft set up for the breeding, can't wait!

P.s. Currently have my first spawn of Albino Fry about 21 of them G'Day from Perth! 1650918589

trigon as a grow out tank, you really are spoiling them Laughing

Welcome Smile

All the best with your breeding setup, are you going connected sump or separate tanks?

Yeah they will have a ball!!!

Signed up after listening to your recorded interview on the web the other day mate, Impressive!

I've set up the Breeding tanks today (no water yet).
Hey quick question, I have a canister on each 2x2x2 tanks, will that suffice or should I add a sponge/airstone in each tank? I mean there's no chance the bioload will get out of hand with the canisters.

Well thank you Embarassed

I would add in a sponge filter to each. For 2 reasons, firstly, the added filtration will always help. Secondly, the added air to the water. They like high O2 and high flow and the sponge filters will add both. You could go with an air stone for a similar effect but I like the sponge filters Very Happy
