Hey all

Being from South Africa, it is easy to find the common brown/spotted ancistrus. But something special like the Starlights, calicos and Super Reds is extremly difficult. Wish more trades LFS will import.

Well, currently I have 5 Bristlenoses, and my one male is strating to grow beautiful bristles now, and is showing a lot of interest in my female. So hold thumbs

What are the import restrictions into South Africa ??
I can imagine like in Australia, if they got out they would become a problem.

what do your LFS say when you ask to import? Im sure if there are no restrictions like most other countries outside of australia it shouldnt be too hard for you to get something in... Anyways i seen this forum and thought you might be able find someone on there who knows anywhere local to find some fancy bristlenoses Smile
