L183 are very hard to breed, to be honest its all about luck. just make sure you have plenty of hidy holes. and a mix of caves, also if you have some big pieces of bogwood or whatever. make caves in the wood. has they prefer wood to slate or anything else. i think bamboo would be a good choice aswell. i know people why have bred them but. as i say. its about luck. i,m still waiting for my pair to breed, but could be a while or never at all.... ps they like tanned water aswell.
