Huge level of NO2 in my water

Hello all!! As I was telling you in another post I wanted to instal an aquarium onboard my vessel. I bought a Juwel Koralux 60 (around 60 liters).
I tried to cicle the aquarium with Biobacter from Prodibio if you know the product. I made some tests last night and the value of NO2 was over 1mg/l which is huge.
I asked a friend and he told me to make a watter change and I replaced around 8 liter of water. The level of NO3 is betwen 0.10 and 0.25 mg/l, here the values are still ok.
I made a test a few minutes ago and the values are like this : NO2 - over 1mg/l, NO3-75mg/l, GH - 8, PH 7.5. I'm thinking to do a big water change tomorow like 50 %.
What do you think!! Please help me with some advices!!! I'm using AquaSafe as treatment for the tapwater. In aquarium i have also a airstone for more aeration.

1.If you have any fish in the tank at all?
2.What filter is in it?
3.Any live plants?
4.What substrate?
5.When did you start the tank up?

its part of the cycle. the bacteria will settle down soon and they will sort it out. I'd just do a small change every 2-3 days and let the tank sort itself out

Hi!! To answer to Mr. Bristlenoses.
1. Yes I have 3 comon bn around 4 cm each.
2. Is the filter from the aquarium a sponge filter (biological).
3. Yes anubias which are not doing very good.
4. Black substrate like zeolit or something like this 2-3 mm.
5. I started the setup 4-5 days ago.
Yesterday when I changed the water, dropped also one more ampule of Biobacter in the filter.
As per the product they say that 1 ampule should be for 200 liters aquriums so I think that the level o bacteria is more than enough.
I was thinking also that is part of the cycle but I never tried to cycle an aquarium like this that's why I;m so confuse!!

Hi what is the zeolit substrate,can you explain please.Make sure you do very regular small water changes as doug said and keep a close eye on it all.

I think I was wrong with the gravel but this is the type of gravel which i have in my aquarium.

Hi,i translated the dutch to english but it doesn't say much really.So I can't really advise much on that substrate but it should be o.k.

You say you have anubias and they aren't doing very well?
The thing you need to do with anubias is attach them to a piece of bog wood with elastic bands and not to bury their roots into the substrate as this usualy kills them.The reason i mention this is that decaying plants will give you more problems with the water quality.

Have you got them buried into the substrate?

If i was you i would be changing approx 10 litres every 2 days for a while

I have the anubias attached tot the bogwod. I would like to post some pictures but takes too long here. I have some pictures posted in 'pleco paradise' on facebook. You can see there also the bristlenoses. I knew the thing with the anubias so ar still melting. Not all of the anubias only some of it. I will remove the ones whinch are not very good. I will do water changes 10 l every 2 day to see how is going. Cheers and thank yoy again!!
