Peppermints

hey guys, i was given 3 peppermints by a guy i know.
now that ive taken it home and put them in my tank they look a little strange.
cause usually when peps get scared or stressed they lose a bit of colour or go grey. however 2 of these that he has given me turn like a blotchy/patches of brown.
however when theyre settled n fine theyre a nice lookin black with white spots.

can anyone help?

yeah, some pepppermints do that. my male does it even when one of my large cichlids goes near it.
