| Hi there =) Not sure if this is truly cause for alarm or not but can't find an answer anywhere else and my other bn doesn't ever do it.
Liliana frequently lays on the sand upside down under her driftwood. She lays there and sucks the water until she notices me looking at her.. then she swims away or reattaches to the wood. I can't seem to get a picture because as soon as she sees me she moves! Any body else have this happen? Know why? | |

| Hi again! This is no cause for alarm. I have seen all of my males doing this at one point or another. My albino In Particular does this quite often. Curiously I haven't noticed my females doing it.... But that doesn't mean they Aren't, lol. I have no idea what this behavior indicates, but it seems to be perfectly normal. Relax I bet you are a good BN mom : ) | |

| No problem! I came here last August when I first became interested in breeding BNs, and I've been addicted to this place ever since! | |

| The forums are the next best thing to the fish themselves I've found. I'm found here and under the same name on kokosgoldfishforum where I'm a daily contributor. Hopefully I will be here too! | |

| Ok I knew I had a pic of it but it took me ages to find it (mostly because it was on my BFs phone!) Anyways, does anyone know what this behavior indicates?? | |

| I'd say they relax this way. My fake 144 does it all the time: https://i.servimg.com/u/f71/18/17/69/51/p3131115.jpg But every time he notices some movement around the tank, his 'suction cup' is back in use. My females give their lips some rest too, but never on the back, they just 'stand' on their fins. | |
