Female Cirrhosus Died....

This doesnt normally happen to me infact this is the first BN ive lost...(i think)...
She was looking ill the other day in my large tank with little white markings at first. to me it looked like some sort of velvet or ich but it got worse and she had a very large amount of it on her body, so to risk her infecting the rest of my tank and community i moved her to 60litre hospital tank and started treatment with Esha 2000....

Today was the last day of treatment and it seemd to be clearing up, but when i came home she was dead.... .......

Ahh well...........i took some pic's when she had it bad so i will post them soon on here............

Sorry to hear of your loss Curby. I have lost a couple of B/N's over the last few years to something similar. To be honest we didn't work out what it was, and they seemed to be getting better, then suddenly died.

Well that well and truly sucks Curby, and the poor fish in the foto's
doesn't look happy at all- I hate it when they die for no apparent reason.

i have a funny feeling it was caused by fighting as she was quite naughty at times especially when food was around so im guesing she picked the wrong fight and because if you look at the pics you can see wounds around the area were her spikes came out...so it may have been an infection, but the hospital tank and esha 2000 maybe came to late for her ahh well...
