Hi everyone,
Set up a new tank 7 weeks ago and came home today to a clutch of about 40 bristlenose eggs being guarded by dad. Quite a suprise as we didn't  think we really had a suitable setup for breeding bristlenose. Luckily found your site and signed up. Thanks for the members contributions, they are a great help. We'll see how it goes with this clutch, it'll be a steep learning curve! It's a communial  tank and we're looking after some barbs for a friend so not too high hopes of many surviving.
Any advice welcome, we'll keep you updated.
Thanks Bob.

Hi there.

Congratulations on the brood! Sounds like it came as a shock, it did for us too. We had done all the planning and set up we could but still didn't expect it to happen so soon. I have just had some hatch and been doing a thread in 'successful breeders log' with some photos. I jumped on to add more photos this morning and saw your note so I thought I would say hi.

Best of luck - let us know how your eggs/babies go with the others in there - maybe use a baby trap like I have to help them grow and survive.

Julie D.
Very Happy
