Hey peeps been working on my new project for a good 5 months now inbetween turning the old fishroom in to a babies room and the garage into a fishroom.
Here are some pics of the project thus far it is a project that I think will always be 90% done.


Fishroom MK III 110
Construction begins.
Fishroom MK III 210
Insulation of room and ceiling/floor with 8cm foam panels.
Fishroom MK III 310
Foil insulation and vapour barrier whole room. Gyprock panels going up.
Fishroom MK III 410
Room painted, vinyl floor laid edges trimmed new tank stand ready for tanks. Lights installed.
Fishroom MK III 510
Control box for bank of tanks. Temperature and lighting. LED power supply.
Fishroom MK III 610
Doorway, aircon for extra hot days.
Fishroom MK III 710
Stock tank, peppermint breeding tank rack.
Fishroom MK III 810
Peppermint tanks. 4 footers. Little tub full of fry.
Fishroom MK III 910
Pepp rack sump filter, socks - sponge - fluidize k1. 2x 4 footers. over flow drain for automated water change system through drip irrigation.
Fishroom MK III 1010
grow out tanks and common bn breeders 5 foot sump on bottom and 5 foot l333 tank on opposite side.
Fishroom MK III 1110
Sink, water filter automated drip system. Whole room air pump. Aircon for heat waves.

A lot of work gone into it wish I could have given a step by step account for others to learn from but during this time I also had my first born arrive so busy times.

Ummm between 4 - 6k maybe. Didn't really keep track but tried to keep costs to a minimum. new tanks were swapped for bn.

Got the poly sheets at a factory in melbourne selling it on ebay. The company made foam for factory roofs corrigated iron style ect 8 bucks a sheet and two together made 8cm. Fun to cut though got a table saw with a diamond circular blade made for rock ect
