Toughest moss for high flow tanks. Empty
PostSubject: Toughest moss for high flow tanks.   Toughest moss for high flow tanks. EmptyThu Apr 03, 2014 4:55 am

Got me some CRS recently seem to be going good and one is berried up. Now I have fairly bare tanks with a couple of rocks a driftwood and gravel so not sure how the baby shrimp will fair. Tank flow rate is also quite strong and have tried some mosses before but the blocking of the filter was just to much trouble. Anyone got some suggestions for plants/moss that is hardy, not likely to be constantly shedding bits and is small enough for the baby crs to hide in.
THanks Anthony

I have some Christmas Moss on wood in my one pleco tank, once it takes hold its tough and the filter is pouring right down on it . I never had issues with it clogging the filter as it does not come off. I pull it when there is to much by the handfuls off the wood. It looks nice as well on the wood.
