Super red bristle nose turning white

Hello All!

I finally got 12 fry out of the pair of super red bristle nose I was raising for almost a year! Two weeks after I removed all the fry from the tank the female started to change colour. Now it is almost white. sometimes a bit more orange tint to it, but even then it is very dirty looking orange. I had fry turn white and die, but never an adult! Is there anything I can do to prevent the death of this female or am I better starting to look for another one for my male!?! Thank you!

Forgot to post the water parameters..... Nitrates 0 ammonia 0 nitrite 5 or less hard to tell on my test! They are in a 15 gal tank with 3 starlight plecos, that they grew up with! I also have a pair of platys and 7 white clouds in with them! Two 10 % water changes weekly because of the high bio load. Just waiting for my 20 long tank to cycle so I can move the 3 starlight plecos out of the tank! The tank has been running for 7 years, and there was no new addition to it since September....

Ive had L144 adults turn white and die and I found it was from internal parasites I treated the rest of my group probably half were turning whiteish with api general cure and they regained their color and have been fine since
