| A friend of a friend has recently purchased some L144's with Blue eyes
I thought a true L144 had black eyes?
Anyone care to comment further? | |

| Righto , just had a look at their pics and they are black eyes( pupils anyway) I can see how they are referred to as a blue eye - they do have a bluish tint to them. Does your mates fish have black or blue "pupils"?  J | |

| not seen them its a friend of my dads, he knew i may be interested in some l144 and just said his has blue eyes not black | |

| My L144s have black eyes although the fry have a more blue then black but could just be the light | |

| ive got L144 and they have black eyes but ive also seen them with blue ish eyes too mine are only small but defo luck solid black at the momment but have seen alot on ebay in the past sdvertised as blue eyed lemon ancistrus | |

| Mine were blue surround the black pupil although they appear to be getting darker as they get older. | |

I thought the L144 was vice-versa -blue eyes with the occasional fish getting more black than blue - haven't kept them mate so don't listen to me
