As we have a veggie list now posted...would anyone like to say on a weekly basis what they would feed there BN's or plec's.....I.E..


Monday...
Tuesday....
Wednesday....
Thursday...
Friday...
Saturday..
Sunday...

And any treats given on diff day's...Please specify what type of pleco you are basing your diet around...if you can say how many plecs you are giving your diet to and the qauntity of food you will be giving them...this will also provide a good idea for new comer's on the correct way to feed .... Cool

They have either Cucumber without the skin they dont seem to like it, Courgette, sweet potato, or Lettuce.

Hikari Algea wafers

Bloodworm

JMC catfish Pellets

and once a month Lobster Eggs

i never feed them same thing the next day i like to give them a variation

and if you was wondering i feed the above to my L144s and L182s as well as some of my other Plecs

here is my feeding programme

Monday, algae wafers and veggie sticks 10% water change the day after i feed courgette the babies i feed, courgette and crushed pellet powder

Tuesday, courgette and half a cube of bloodworm

Wednesday, algae wafers and wood chip wafers 10% water change the day after i feed courgette

Thursday, courgette and half a cube of brine shrimp

Friday, algae wafers and veggie sticks 10% water change the day after i feed courgette

saturday, just courgette

sunday two whole cubes of bloodworm 10% water change the day after i feed courgette

I do my water changes every other day do to courgette being quite messy lol!

I try and vary the diet for my Bristlenoses

Bloodworm live or frozen
Algae Wafers
Catfish Pellets
Cucumber Wedges weighted down

Have had Brown Bristlenoses and Albinos breeding pretty well, so must be doing something right

just thought i would post this as i was making a prawn cocktail and thought would the plecs eat prawn so i threw one in the males were scraping over it so i threw another one in they were gone in seconds lol!

yes some plecs love prawns i feed them to my L134s every now and then never seen any others touch them though
