I had my male in with some fry in my fry saver, and when I looked just then he is nowhere to be seen. I checked everywhere in the tank and could only see the girls. My question is, do they ever jump out of the tank? I haven't found a body yet so I still have my hopes Sad Are bristlenose jumpers? 484291715

Males can be sneaky enough to get out of and back into fry savers on occasion. He's probably in the tank somewhere but if you don't have a lid on the tank he mite have unfortunately snuck out the wrong way...

thanks for the help. I haven't seen him yet. I guess being a parent was too much for him.

Yeah they sure are, a few weeks ago I lost one whilst jumping, it hit the top of the glass and obviously broke it's neck in the process. She was one of my breeders too.

thanks for the responses. I haven't seen him yet. I think I may get some longfin albinos and some peppermints and have a go at breeding them, then when the ABN fry have grown up I will switch them out for some different bloodlines and have another go with them.

So if anyone near sydney has any peps and/or longfin albinos that are of a breeding size I'm interested.

Are bristlenose jumpers? 484291715 Yes they are jumpers. I lost a female BN a few weeks ago. I'd say she broke her neck whilst jumping and hit the top of the glass in the process.
