With all those rocks in there though, how do you manage to clean the tank when gravel-vaccing? :P

The substrate is sand...To get stuff from behind the rocks i use a turkey baster and blast water on an angle and it forces any crud to the front of the tank where i pick it up. Though not much gets back there as the maingano flying in and the rocks brings most to the front *L*
