PostSubject: Bought as L182   Bought as L182 EmptyMon Mar 01, 2010 9:56 pm

I purchased this guy as a baby 1 inch in size as a L182 but not sure if he is a L182 also have a female.

There's some baby L182's on ebay at the moment and been speaking to the seller and he says they are def L182 and they do not have a red tinge like mine does Shocked

Sorry for poor photos, really need to get some better ones, will try again later

Is it just me or does this fish look brownish in colour and not jet black, kinda looks like what we get over here called an
"orange spot", I've checked the Aqualog and you can get a "red spotted"=L110.
Geez life would be so much easier if 1 species was 1 colour and another a different colour instead of a mirriad of fish looking very similar.
cheers J

High Jagtazman, looks very much like we get delivered as an "orange spot B/N", all though I can't find any kind of reference
for an O/S( maybe it's an OZZIE thing) but take a look for L110 aka "red spot B/N" and see what you think.
cheers J

Not L100 according to Back to Nature as the L100 has quite large red spots, but I'd love to own some L110's they look cool

I'm looking at the back to nature "guide" right now and see no reference to L100 having orange/red spots (it's pictured black with white spots)
and no script reference either .
The guide I have was copy righted in 2008- whats yours?
I'll do a little bit of digging further and see if I kind any other names for what we get in OZ as an "orange spot",
I still think you have L110.
cheers J

High Jagtazman, I've thrown this I.D at the crew @PF and apparently the fish we get in OZ tagged as the O-spot
is actually A.Rio ucayali and your fish looks very much like an O-spot. Hope that gives you a better idea.
cheers J
