ansictrus multispinis

just got this email from someone i know



morning dean

i have some ancistrus multippinis. im not sure how they will turn out because i carnt find a corect picture. at the moment they are brown with pale spots all over them. they look very nice.

as anyone heard of these as i cannot find any either. the only one i know of is the one with the greayish blue spots from rio
any help would be greatfull

sound like l338 or l352 without a pic hard to know for sure

or could be what your mate says

yeah thats the one i was discribing mate the one with the greayish blue spots could,nt remember the number need my books back.

White-girdled B/N and known as A.albocinctus
Distribution: smaller coastal rivers ,south east brazil- Rio de janeiro
And yes your right deano they are a lighter grey in colour with lighter blueish-grey spots.
Nice looking fish from the plates in "back to nature" guide , no Lnumber supplied in that guide -will try to source 1

hope it is these and ill snap them up. but he says their brown and coverd in fine spots. probably got white spot
