L075 leopard pleco

I bought 4 leopard plecos last weekend, average size 14cm. They have a bit more growing to do yet as they can get up to 25cm.
They are apparently a very peaceful plec for their size and don't poop and clog filters as bad as the L204 flash.
I got a good photo before they broke my heart and did what plecos usually do and disappear into logs and hidey spots.

My brother bought it 2 years ago he gave it to me 4 months ago. It was shy i used a red light to see what it got up 2 at night. it died about 3 weeks ago and when i tested the water it was fine? i hate it when that happens. Are you hoping to breed them?

They have all settled into their 6ft tank and love eating pumpkin, zucchini(courgette) and cucumber (their fave). I seldom see them very far from their caves during the day but with the "moon light" on in the tank I see them at night.

Since they are going to grow to 20 to 25cm I think I will have to get some much longer caves for them to actually breed in as 20cm male plus 20cm female = 40cm of fish and my caves are only about 20cm.

I turned the lights on one night to catch a photo but the leopard got such a fright he nearly took out the heater on the back wall! I won't be pulling that stunt again.
