Is it really a must on this site?

| No, no, no. You misunderstand me.  Yesterday I had been posting to some topics, and could not send my post without typing verification codes. Even when I did, sometimes I have got error messages appear on my screen. Why do we have to use such codes for posting?  | |

| I had to enter things like eUTc7 or #Zg2tW and alike.
Only for a day, but was very strange and frustrating.
I thought that it is soooo bloody strange that some sort of hacking must have been behind that. | |
