Nice clean setup, I was wondering do you need 2 x 300 watts heaters? One should be sufficient to get to 26C.

Very nice mate, agree that the heaters might be a bit of overkill, but then again, they just won't be on for very long Wink

Better to have two so if one fails there's a backup, that's what I reckon.

Mind you I have 2 200W heaters on my 300 Litre tank Smile

Are you planning on leaving the babies in there when they breed?

Nice one Cass!! I agree with you on the heaters. I have 2 300w heaters in my 4fter, one set to 26, the other set to 23. that way if either goes i will know before there is a disaster and it doesnt take too long for the water to warm up after a change Very Happy

looking good!

Thanks Peeps!

Unfortunately I lost my female albino last night Sad Not sure why (egg bound maybe?) but the tank is getting a good clean out today.

Right next to this monster tank I have a 2.5ftx14x20 that has had breeding guppies in it for the last 6 months, this is slowly being reduced so i can use it as a grow out tank Wink It will be stripped back to basics (thin layer of gravel & 1/2 doz pieces of wood) as soon as any fry emerge from the caves.

No new pics yet but I will add some more when i am finished the big clean Wink I honestly didnt realise how messy these guys would be! (next time i will believe you lot :P)

I am thinking of hooking up an undergravel filter to help suck the crap through into the big filter... Thoughts?
