| I never see Calicos for sale at the LFS in my area. Do Calicos not sell well? Is it more difficult for breeders to get Calicos? | |

| supply and demand...
they are rare, so fewer people breed them, fewer of them, higher price, fish shops sell less of them, they dont stock them, they get rarer.
only reason the shop i work in sells calicos, longfins, peppermints etc is cos i work there and do em cheap for them | |

| depends on the supply at the time. Normally I sell them privately for around $20-25 for a 3cm fish. Adults can go for over $150. Proven trios for $250+
at the shop we sell the peps for $35, which is considerably cheaper than anywhere else (in SA at least). | |

| The shop where I get my fish and fish stuff from sell them for $40.00 a piece. It's the only place in coffs harbour to get them at. Petstock will only sell common and albino BN'S. Which is a real bummer. | |
