Hi,
I am new to this hobby and i am just setting up a tank,there is a good aquatic centre near me but i would like some advise, will the Bristlenose eat my plants if i put them in . Plants for my tank. 3235774899

Hi Terry,bristlenoses don't usualy bother plants,they just eat the algae from them.I like anubias as they are hardy and easy to keep.They do best attached to bog wood with elastic bands Smile

type of broad leaf aquatic plant that grows best attached to driftwood, rocks or other hard surfaces. saves having to plant it which makes it easier to move around for cleaning or remodeling the tank Smile

Can't help with a local spot to go though as im from the other side of the planet Sad sure one of the UK guys will be able to help out!

I have a few Echinodrus bleheri (amazon sword plant) and they are doing well. There are some rumours around that bristlenoses eat them but that is not the fact. They only eat any algae growing on them. Also I find the leaves big enough to support even an adult bristlenose.
