Shocked Hi newbie here, had no fish for 30years but want to start again?? Bristlenose look the perfect starting point, i have a 30"x 12 x 15 Jewel tank, will it be big enough for a pair to breed in??

Hi and welcome Smile Yes your tank is big enough for 1 pair to breed in but that is all i would add if it is for breeding.Make sure you add some bog wood and plenty of hiding places and caves etc.Also cycle the filter before you add the fish.Nice to have you here.If there is anything else you would like help with don't hesitate to ask in the other sections and good luck Smile

Welcome. I have also returned to fish after a longer absence. But you should have fun with Bristlenoses. Your tank is fine. Plus I can also join in on the recommendation for wood and plenty of hiding holes.
Also don't forget a nice and varied diet with fresh organic vegetables and wafers for plecos such as Tetra Pleco Wafer.
Lots of smart heads here, they have helped a great deal in getting my fishkeeping up to date.
