this might be off the subject but i have a 3ft community tank with 5 agressive redeye tetra causing trouble but i cant catch them way too fast any suggestions how i can remove them without disturbing the tank plantings all help will be appreciated

High bpmc, In OZ there is a brand of fish net claiming that their "red" netting is harder for the fish to see, so I brought one(sucker scratch ),it's still just a fish net that catches fish but you could see if the red net helps your cause.
Second piece of advice is stop trying to catch them so hard - wait for them, I usually do this with my female sword tail when she's ready to drop babies- if I chase her down I don't stand a chance in hell of catching her, but if I just let the net sit there 9 times out of 10 she just swims straight in.

I had some god damned zebra danios like this. Don't do what I did. I left them there and bought a new tank for the others! There's a sucker born every minute!

dont feed them for a day or so, and then put a big net just a little under the surface, drop food above the net and wait for them to go and eat, then just quickly lift the net up. if that doesnt work then i have no idea. lol

Can you try taking most of the water out?

and use more then 1 net?
