we call courgettes Zucchinis just for any aussies out there who are confused Smile

and def cucumber as it doesnt foul filters anywhere near as badly and its closer to algae in nutritional value (i.e. it has very low nutritional value Laughing )

i got no probs using both but if i put both in the tank the bns seem to prefer cucumber first. doesnt stop them from demolishing both tho Very Happy

does not cloud the water as much, lasts longer and all my BN eat it
also believe nutritionally its better

Cuc all the way here...it may not have as much nutrient value as the Zucchini, but if supplemented with other quality foods, the fish will thrive...

I think its just what your BNs prefer. My adults prefer it blanched while my juvies won't touch it. They prefer it raw.

Thats all mine seem to eat when i feed them courgette, munch the skin off then leave the rest to clog the filter
